Borman Family
Rick and Sue Borman serve with One Collective as North American Representative for a Training and Retreat Center ministry called El Refugio in the mountains of Ecuador.
El Refugio is a training and retreat center that uses nature and outdoor adventure programming to bring people to a relationship with Jesus Christ or to grow them in their existing relationship with Christ.
Rick and Sue’s primary work is to recruit teams, staff and interns to aid in the work of El Refugio. Rick plans and leads; work, ministry and fundraising teams to Ecuador each year so that El Refugio can be more effective in reaching the Ecuadorian people for Christ. He also leads and teaches in our internship programs while on site in Ecuador.

Burns Family
Ethan & Myriah Burns are missionary appointees with One Collective to El Refugio, a training and retreat center in the mountains of Ecuador that uses nature and outdoor adventure programming to bring people to a relationship with Jesus Christ or to grow them in their existing relationship with Christ.
Ethan will be serving as a Maintenance Specialist investing in discipleship and mentoring relationships with those he works with, while being a liaison between Spanish and English speaking groups. Myriah will be working as a Retreat Designer and Healthcare Specialist, creating and facilitating customized retreat experiences and coordinating the care of any illness or injury with participants, interns, or staff. While El Refugio offers a temporary retreat, our heart is for participants to encounter Jesus as the Ultimate Refuge!
